Pictured below is a familiar character from Portal 2 engraved onto a panel which was just sent into space on the Japanese HTV-3 resupply craft, which is taking supplies to the International Space Station. An anonymous fan at NASA sneaked the unauthorized engraving onto the panel. That fan seems to have used a picture of Wheatley instead of the Space Core, who looks just a little bit different but is far more likely to yell, “Spaaaaaaace!”
Poor Space Core. An engraving of a personality sphere gets to go to actual space, and it was Wheatley, who totally doesn’t appreciate the gesture. Here’s the panel en route to SPAAAACE.
