A few weeks ago, Beth Ross was struggling with a low-wage fast food job, a dying father, and a jerk uploading a video of her screwing up on the job going viral. But thanks to social media and political infighting, she became the write-in candidate who won the job of leading the free world.
Now to actually survive it. But it’s not going to be easy, and if Beth thinks she’s going to have much help from, well, anybody, she’s learning the hard way that’s not the case. Ben Caldwell and Mark Russell linger on the worst of the political process in this satire, while simultaneously throwing in touches like a sentient killing machine hitchhiking across America with a portable toilet.
