Second Trailer For “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance” Attempts To Melt Faces

Never get in a rap battle with this guy. He spits hot fire.

If you enjoyed watching Nic Cage give a urine sample for a chlamydia test, boy howdy do we have some good news for you today. Sony released a second trailer for Ghost Rider: Nic Cage Pees Fire Spirit of Vengeance directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. We also get to see Johnny Whitworth as Blackout, a character Neveldine and Taylor say they didn’t bother to research but liked the way he looked. Which is how I imagine pretty much all decisions are made in Hollywood (hardly anybody reads anything), but most wouldn’t admit it.

The second trailer seems to have a slightly more serious tone, possibly in response to the poor reception the film received at Harry Knowles’ Butt-Numb-A-Thon last weekend:

The recent BNAT screening of Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, from Crank directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, turned out to be a giant miscalculation. The audience that you’d assume was most likely to be receptive to the Ghost Rider sequel ended up hating it, and now Columbia has wave of bad buzz to overcome. [/film]

Ouch. I didn’t know anyone in Harry Knowles’ orbit was even capable of disliking something. I’m learning new things every day you guys.
