Spider-Man Will Be In ‘Captain America: Civil War’ And The ‘Sinister Six’ Movie Is Still On

As you may have heard, the ol’ wall crawler himself is finally set to become a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the plan being for him to appear briefly in a Marvel Studios film before starring in a solo movie for Sony. So, which Marvel Studios film will he be in? Most have speculated that it would have to be Captain America: Civil War, and according to The Wall Street Journal, that speculation is exactly right. Hopefully the first thing we see from the new Marvel Universe Spidey isn’t his infamous Civil War unmasking scene.

I also haven’t changed my hair since I was fifteen years old.

Now that Marvel Studios and Sony are in bed with each other, Marvel is totally going to get out their broom and sweep up Sony’s apartment, right? Get rid of all those musty, not-so-great sounding Spider-Man spin-offs they were planning? Well, no – from The Wall Street Journal again…

“The studio will rethink its approach to Sinister Six, which remains in development, in light of the new agreement with Marvel.”

Just to add a little speculation fuel to the fire, “rethinking Sinister Six” could mean “adding Spider-Man to it and making it the next Spidey movie.” That’s what I’d do if I had two years to make a new Spider-Man movie from scratch yet again.
