‘Star Wars Battlefront’ DLC To Include The Death Star, Cloud City, And Jabba The Hutt’s Palace

Anyone who’s played Star Wars Battlefront knows the games pushes its $50 season pass on you pretty hard, and yet up until now we haven’t been given any idea what it will contain. Well, thankfully, EA and Battlefront developer DICE finally opened up about their rather expensive DLC. Here’s what season pass holders can expect over the coming year…

Outer Rim (March 2016) – Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine.

Bespin (Summer 2016) – It’s hunt or be hunted in this action-packed experience set in the Cloud City of Bespin.

Death Star (Fall 2016) – That’s no moon! One of the most iconic locations in the Star Wars universe makes its debut in Star Wars Battlefront.

Expansion Pack 4 – Title TBA (Early 2017) – We will have more details to share about this exciting new expansion pack in the coming months.

They’re certainly hitting all the classics, although it’s somewhat disappointing to see we won’t be getting any additional The Force Awakens content. I suppose the yet-to-be-detailed fourth expansion pack could take us somewhere Episode VII-related.

In addition to the above-listed season pass content, a free update will arrive tomorrow that adds private matches, daily challenges, Hoth-themed costumes for Luke and Han Solo, and a new Tatooine map to Star Wars Battlefront.

I’ll admit, I’ve been grinding through too many RPGs to play much Battlefront recently. Anybody still playing the game? Excited for the Death Star, Cloud City and Jabba updates?
