A New ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Rumor Says An Unexpected Hero Is Returning

We see a lot of Star Wars rumors pass across the Gamma Squad desk, and most of them are less than credible. This one, although the source seems a little suspect, is also so hugely obvious, we’re giving it a nod, however. Spoilers below!

According to rumor site Star Wars News Net, Luke isn’t the only Jedi who has a moment in the movie. Yep, you guessed it, Yoda will supposedly make at least a token appearance. The claim comes from a dubbing house, so they’ve probably seen the movie. Intriguingly, another rumor on the same post claims that actors auditioned for a scene that seems to imply a Sith joins the Jedi in this movie. Might Yoda have something to do with that? “A ghost I am. Annoy you with my grammar I will, until join the Jedi you do.”

Of all the rumors we’ve heard, this one is pretty credible. A) Disney wants to sell Yoda toys, because kids love him, and B) far more reliable rumors have them bringing back Wicket, and if they’re going to dig that deep, leaving Yoda out seems almost mean. Besides, Luke can’t be talking to himself in a volcano for 30 years. That’d just be depressing.
