This ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan’ Trailer Don’t Cut ‘Em No Slack

A lot of big name games are coming out in May, but one under-the-radar titles you should be keeping an eye on is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan. It’s been a while since Ninja Turtles games have been any good, but this game will hopefully break that trend, as it’s developed by Platinum, the studio behind Bayonetta and the well-received Transformers: Devastation.

Mutants in Manhattan publisher Activision has released a new trailer showcasing our four reptilian heroes, and it looks like Platinum is putting a lot of effort into differentiating each Turtle. Every character has their own unique abilities – Donatello can use force fields and project an energy version of himself, Raph’s got stealth moves and can transform into a rage-powered slashing machine, and Mikey has projectile throwing and cheerleading skills? Sure, okay, why not.

While we’re at it, here’s 10 minutes of gameplay, including a boss battle against a chainsaw-wielding Bebop, courtesy of Polygon:

Honestly, this game looks to be a bit on the low-budget side, but that won’t matter much if the action is solid, and it looks like it is. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan arrives to kick some shell on May 24.
