The Directors Of ‘John Wick’ May Be In Line To Helm ‘Aquaman’

So, Warner Bros. will try to make an Aquaman movie. I actually have nothing against the character, and I like Jason Momoa, but Aquaman isn’t exactly the most exciting upcoming DC Comics flick, is it? Well, it might be time for an anticipation level adjustment because rumors indicate that the directors of John Wick may be helming Aquaman’s first big underwater adventure.

If you haven’t seen John Wick, well, you should probably remedy that. Directed by former stuntmen/fight choreographers Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, John Wick featured some of the most fluid, visually arresting action scenes in years. It also had a lot of sad Keanu Reeves in it, which is always entertaining.

Well, according to the usually reliable Latino Review, Warner Bros. wants Stahelski and Leitch to direct a DC Comics movie. There’s no specific word yet on the what movie they want Stahelski and Leitch for, but Latino Review is speculating that it’s Aquaman

David Leitch was the second unit director and stunt coordinator for Momoa’s Conan the Barbarian reboot, and the two remain friends, so Stahelski and Leitch on Aquaman makes a certain amount of sense. Now, just get Keanu Reeves in there as Black Manta, and we’re set.

What do you think of Stahelski and Leitch possibly doing Aquaman? Is there another superhero movie you’d rather see them on? Is there somebody better-suited to handle ol’ fish scale pants?
