The Ridiculous Awesomeness Of Fantastic Adventures

The war of giant apes! The ghost that haunted Hitler! Giant Satan that looks like a baby! Fantastic adventures was a Sci-Fi pulp magazine that ran from 1939 to 1953. Man, I’m not going to lie to you guys, I love being alive now, but I really wish I could have been a kid when this book was hitting the stands (although the newspapers with World War II news would probably dampen my enthusiasm).
Every one of these covers crackle with silly excitement. And of course, scantily clad babes. After all, what use is it creating a giant spider monster if there isn’t someone in danger? And who better to be in danger, than someone who is hardly wearing anything at all.
