Minecraft is one of those gaming sensations people either love or just “don’t get”, and that’s okay. Enough people love it that it isn’t going to be going away anytime soon. And now that Microsoft have acquired Mojang, you can safely expect this cash cow will be milked for all it’s worth. What better way to breathe life into something than to inject it with something else people already love? In this case, we are talking about The Simpsons being injected into Minecraft (in the forms of skins).

Starting in February, Minecraft for Xbox fans will be able to punch trees as Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Maggie, and 19 other Simpsons characters.
Some of the other character skins who will be available include:
- Nelson Muntz
- Otto
- Ralph Wiggum
- Principal Skinner
- Jimbo
- And, of course, Groundskeeper Willie
It just makes sense you would be playing a game that involves grounds keeping as a groundskeeper (in a pixel kilt, no less). The Simpsons skin pack will be available for Minecraft on Xbox Live in February.
