The UPROXX GammaStream Kills Some Nazis With ‘Wolfenstein: The Old Blood’

Ready to kill some Nazis driven mad by superscience? Well, I’m assuming there’s superscience involved; this is Wolfenstein. Either way, there are Nazis, they’re in a video game, so they’ve got to die.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is actually a standalone prequel to last year’s excellent Wolfenstein: The New Order. It’s 1946, and the Allies are losing the war, thanks to a sudden and rapid improvement in Nazi technology. So, the Allies send B.J. Blazkowicz to steal some coordinates from… where else? Castle Wolfenstein. The game itself was a clever mixture of old-school first-person shooter and new-school gaming techniques, and it was quite well-written into the bargain.

Will MachineGames continue the tradition? Most likely! But we’ll be playing through to find out. If you’d like to join us, you can either watch the stream below or go to Twitch to see it in action. We’ll start at 2:40 p.m. EST and play until 4:40, so you’ll get a nice long look at the game and how it plays. See you then!
