‘The Wolverine’ Defenestrates A Douche In The Newest, Best Clip

The Wolverine opens this Friday. Although we still don’t have any of the footage screened — then screened again by popular demand — at Comic-Con, we do have a new clip. The scene comes as part of an episode of HBO Advance Notice: The Wolverine with Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold.

The clip starts at 2:00 in the video below. In it, Wolverine creatively interrogates Norubo Mori (played by Brian Tee), a corrupt minister of justice who hired the Yakuza to assassinate his fiancé Mariko Yashida in that funeral scene we’ve seen already. This is the Wolverine we like to see: angry, punching people, and casually hurling dudes out a window.

In somewhat related news, Hugh Jackman told a funny story at the X-Men: Days of Future Past Comic-Con panel that we’ll quote here because I want it to be true.

“I got dressed up in my Wolverine costume this morning and walked around San Diego. And not one person stopped me. One person said, ‘Not Bad.’ Another said, ‘Too tall.'” — Hugh Jackman

Pics or it didn’t happen.

The Wolverine opens July 26th.
