Like most upcoming superhero movies, X-Men: Apocalypse has a huge cast, and that’s now getting even bigger with the announcement that Ben Hardy will be playing Angel in the movie.
No, not Tom Hardy (that’s what I originally thought the story was, too). Ben Hardy is a British actor who’s been a staple on soap opera EastEnders for years. As I discovered when researching this story, there’s a lot of pictures of this dude’s abs on Google image search. Y’know, if you’re into that sort of thing.
We’ve known Angel would be a part of the movie for a few days, as Bryan Singer recently posted this concept art on Instagram…
Looks like a fairly traditional take on Angel, complete with giant feathery wings. Anybody an avid British soap opera fan? Do you think Hardy is a good choice for Angel?
