It’s been a few months since the release of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. Since that time, many have spent hours debating various aspect of the film including its use of time travel and breathtaking visual imagery. However, one thing that isn’t up for debate is the inclusion and use of the film’s A.I. robots.
One of the, if not the, most memorable things about Insterstellar is the robot side-kick, T.A.R.S. The character was full of so much personality that it was impossible not to like him, not to mention the fact that he was a rather versatile piece of technology despite his appearance. So, of course, given his likeability, you have to wonder just how the character came to be. Luckily, there’s now a behind-the-scenes featurette floating around to help answer that very question.
