Some genius looked at a Cricut cutting machine and thought, “Cutting designs out of paper is pretty cool, but shoving cake ingredients in there would be even better.”  And it is. We will be forever in his or her debt.  The Cricut Printer (pronounced “cricket” for some reason) is $399 for the full size or $199 for the mini, which is a lot but shut up because cake printer. And think of all the money you’ll save on ink cartridges!

It can stamp designs into fondant sheets, frosting sheets, cookie dough, modeling chocolate (the sexiest of the chocolates), soft candies, tortillas, and probably many other food items I will flatten with a textbook then shove on in there. For science.  I’m going to get so fat you guys.  I’m going to print, like, forty cakes.  That’s as many as four tens. And that’s terrible.
