Buku Project Festival Announces Its Diverse Lineup Featuring Lil Uzi Vert, Illenium, And Migos

The Buku Music + Art Project is coming to New Orleans and bringing some fast-rising stars with it. The burgeoning arts festival has announced its progressive and diverse final 2018 lineup, coming to Mardi Gras World in downtown New Orleans March 9th and 10th.

The music portion of the festival will include an array of talent from hip-hop neophytes Lil Uzi Vert and Ski Mask The Slump God to electronic pioneer Snails. Electronic producer Illenium will perform his entire album, Awake, while Noname, Bassnectar, Migos, MGMT, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Little Dragon, Bonobo, Mura Masa, Flatbush Zombies, and local hero Jay Electronica will round out the lineup.

The festival will take place over five stages, from an abandoned early 20th Century power plant to a warehouse filled with the New Orleans’ iconic Mardi Gras floats. Other stages include a concert hall with wrap around balcony viewing and special performances inside the Creole Queen riverboat which docks next to the festival and acts as the VIP-only S.S. BUKU for the weekend. It will also feature live street art including paintings, graffiti, and other mediums, custom-made industrial art installations, and surprise “pop-up” performances.

The complete list of performers can be found at The Buku Project website and tickets are available here.
