Future’s Son Stole The Show During His ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ Performance

For a time, it seemed Future would never top his 2014-2015 run, and who could blame him. A trilogy of mixtapes made him a superstar then he delivered on that promise with a monumental album DS2. Just two years later, it seems Future may have outdone himself with two No. 1 albums in back to back weeks, a primetime set on the main stage at Coachella and the biggest song of his career with “Mask Off.” The rest of 2017 will probably serve as a deserved, prolonged victory lap, and for the first leg of that lap happened Wednesday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Future hit the stage on Kimmel to perform “Mask Off” for the late night television audience, and that was a perfectly fine rendition of the track for the world to see. The story here, though, is what the TV audience didn’t see, as Future also took the time to perform his Purple Reign and EVOL track “Wicked.” For that song, Future saw fit to bring his son Prince on stage, and though the little guy seemed a little shy at first, he had the same exact reaction as everybody else when the beat dropped: he lost his sh*t.

Maybe Kimmel or guest host Anthony Anderson should have made the executive decision to make this the televised performance and give little Prince his time in the limelight that he deserves for his little bop. Check out Future’s take your kid to work day moment below.
