The Rolling Loud festival in Miami is finally underway, and the three-day festival that some have referred to the hip-hop Coachella is the perfect setting for some rap beefs to come to a head as it seems all of rap is accounted for on the lineup. Thankfully, one of the biggest and longest running current beefs in the industry — Birdman vs. Lil Wayne — appears to be squashed. Maybe.
Birdman took to Instagram to post a few pictures of gleeful Tunechi posing with a Birdman’s kids Bryan Jr. and Bria at the festival. Granted, it doesn’t exactly mean everything is settled and there are millions of dollars that still need to be accounted for, but the kids that have surely grown up with Wayne just might be the olive branch needed to end all of the madness between both parties.
There still is the matter of the various lawsuits, the Rick Ross diss song, the Roc Nation interference and of course Wayne’s long-awaited album Tha Carter V, but hopefully this reunion is a sign of good things to come. This isn’t the first time Wayne and Birdman have been spotted together since the spat began though, they famously spent New Years 2016 in Miami together with other members of the Cash Money family so who knows where this is all headed.
