Lil Wayne’s Swan Song Also Happens To Be The Theme For ‘Skip And Shannon: Undisputed’

He may — or may not — be retired but that doesn’t mean the music will be stopping any time soon for Lil Wayne. In fact, expect to hear from Weezy daily, at least that is for anyone who decides to tune in for Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.

Fox Sports 1’s new debate show starring commentators Skip Bayless along with co-host former NFL great Shannon Sharpe and Joy Taylor premiered today with Lil Wayne providing the theme music via his song, “Undisputed.” The song was previewed last week, but that was before the Young Money captain seemingly declared his retirement from rap over the weekend. If that stands, “Undisputed” could end up being the last song he released while active.

It shouldn’t really come as a huge surprise that Wayne would lend his services to Bayless. The rapper has been a frequent guest on shows with Bayless and has a great deal of admiration for him. “I like the fact that he’s super intelligent and he uses his intelligence in a way that we all don’t,” Wayne said previously about his admiration for Bayless. “He probably came up with the term ‘debate’ and he can debate his ass off.”

For anyone keeping score at home, Skip Bayless, not Birdman, helped with the release of Weezy’s swan song.
