Logic Is Projected To End Kendrick Lamar’s Reign At The Top Of The Charts

Kendrick Lamar’s near-month long reign atop the Billboard 200 is about to come to and end. Logic’s third studio effort Everybody is projected to take over the top spot this coming week while also logging the third highest first week sales for a rapper in 2017. According to HHNM, the Gaithersburg, Maryland rapper won’t just sit atop the Billboard 200 once final numbers are tallied, he’ll have bested the sophomore album, From A Room: Volume 1, from Chris Stapleton to do it. An incredible feat to say the least.

Most projections have Logic’s third studio effort landing at No. 1 with over 200,000 copies sold. 155-165,000 copies are set to come from traditional album sales. Some projections even have the Def Jam signee’s album clocking more than 210 to 250,000 copies. Needless to say, it’s a massive accomplishment for Logic and another big win for hip-hop in 2017. He’s certainly come a long way since 2014’s Under Pressure and has nearly doubled his first week sales on every album since.

For Logic fans, the news of their favorite rapper registering his first number one album isn’t all they have to get excited about. He recently announced the brand new the Everybody’s Tour with Joey Bada$$ and Big Lenbo supporting. The 29-date trek kicks off in July in Salt Lake City, UT and ends August 26 in Toronto.

You can purchase your tickets when they go on sale on Ticketmaster. Peep all the announced dates below.
