Pusha T Tells Clipse Fans To Keep Hope Alive

Pusha T is slowly working his way back into the consciousness of rap fans everywhere, and the good news is that usually means new music is on the way soon. First, he popped up on the Gorillaz new single “Let Me Out,” and now he’s teasing something Pusha fans have been salivating over for years.

Push randomly popped up on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show to talk about stuff like losing in ping pong to the Gorillaz Damon Albarn, the track with the Gorillaz and a Clipse reunion with his brother No Malice. The duo haven’t released a project together in nearly eight years, with Malice finding religion and gradually shifting his priorities away from music. Still, Push said the prospects for new Clipse music are alive and well.

Keep hope alive, Clipse fans. I’m forever with it. Everybody knows I’m with it, it’s just about getting him on the same page… the chemistry’s still there, the key players are still there.

Push has his own new album on the way with King Push, which he said would arrive sometime this year but divulged no further details. And as far as his supposed beef with Drake? Well, there was no mention there, even though Zane did mention Drake’s ping pong prowess and a potential showoff with Damon. So yeah, it’s been quite some time since Drake supposedly clapped back at Pusha’s years of goading him, and it appears Push has no plans to return first. Disappointingly so.

Either way, check out Pusha’s brief interview with Zane Lowe below.
