Update 12:17 AM EST: At least one of the shooting victims passed away at Bellevue Hospital, per CBS New York. Also, Troy Ave’s management confirmed to Karen Civil that the rapper was grazed during the shooting.
Details are scarce at the moment but multiple people were reportedly shot at a T.I. concert at Irving Plaza in New York Wednesday evening. Reports say up to three people were injured, including at least one critically. Video has surfaced from the event of crowds scattering while some lay on the floor injured. It’s not clear at the moment if T.I. was actually at the event or if there was a performance during the time of the shooting.
Per CBS 2 in New York:
Three people were confirmed to be wounded in the shooting, including a man who was shot in the chest and a woman who was shot in the leg, officials said. One of the victims was reported in critical condition; the conditions of the other two were not immediately known
Update: The reported number of victims is now up to four after a another person checked in at a nearby hospital according to ABC7:
A 34-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 33-year-old man was shot in the stomach. Both are in critical condition.
A 26-year-old woman was shot in the leg and is in serious but stable condition.
A fourth person walked into NYU medical center with a gunshot wound. Their condition is not yet known.
