Wale Seems About Ready To Quit This ‘Fake’ Music Business

Nearly two months after J. Cole tried to tell him to chill the hell out with all his whining and complaining on “False Prophets,” Wale is back to whining and complaining on social media. This time the talented DC rapper is airing out his grievances with the “fake” music industry.

Over the weekend, Wale shared his thoughts on Instagram and said he was “tired” of the business that takes “your soul then make you want to leave.” The Every Blue Moon artist appears to be feeling unappreciated by his fans and peers, writing, “n*ggas don’t respect humble, n*ggas don’t respect intelligence…they’ll ask for “this or that” and [when] you deliver it they’ll say it never happened.”

While he didn’t name any names, Wale said he’s aware of what gets his name in the headlines and what doesn’t, adding, “Let me out some [people]..it’ll make headlines…let me uplift some people it’ll get buried quicker than you can say “leanmollyxan.” And he isn’t lying. “Wale Beefs With John Q Rapper” type articles always outperform “Wale Donates To Charity” ones. This is the crap the people want and it’s the crap they’ll continue to get.

Touching on the music industry’s hypocrisy, the 32-year-old MMG soldier finished his thoughts with, “they’ll kill you and then worship you when you gone.” Wale later deleted his Instagram post and replaced it with a tweet about fake rappers who “only f*ck with you” when you’re dead. Yikes!
