From LeBron James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers to Rosie O'Donnell's unexpected return to “The View,” last week featured two emotional announcements from two pop culture icons. Literally and effectively, James and O'Donnell are coming home. James to his home state and the team he first became an NBA MVP with and O'Donnell to the show that made her a powerful political commentator.
With this in mind, HitFix's editorial staff began realizing how many stars and TV shows needed to “come home.” Whether it's “Project Runway” back to Bravo or Salvatore Romano to “Mad Men,” there were a ton of favorites who would be better off returning where they started. For some it would be a happy ending, for others it would bring closure and for a few it would get them back to what they do best.
