5 things we learned about ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’

We are currently in the midst of Marvel’s Phase Two and as a part of it, next year we’ll be getting a sequel to “Captain America: The First Avenger.”  It is therefore in no way a surprise that many in the “The Winter Soldier” cast were present at Comic-Con last weekend.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Frank Grillo, and a whole lot more. Those five actors all spent a few minutes with us at Comic-Con and we gleaned new and different bits of information about the movie, and the process, from them.
We won’t spoil any of that stuff for you here. You’re going to have to hit the play button in the video embedded at the top of this page if you want to know how Crossbones feels about Cap, who Sebastian Stan originally wanted to play, and just how things work with superheroes who can’t fly or shoot lightning out of their hands.
Are you excited to see more of Captain America and how he handles himself in the 21st Century without a full complement of Avengers?  Is teaming him with Black Widow a good move?

“Captain America: The Winter Soldier” arrives in theaters on April 4, 2014.
