Check out this cool infographic about the tech in ‘Back to the Future Part II’

2015 is a big year for “Back to the Future.” The beloved film celebrates 30 years (a “nice round number”) since its release, and October 21, 2015 marks the date that Doc and Marty travel to in “Back to the Future Part II.” Great Scott, this is heavy! Join us here as we count down to the festivities on this red letter date in the history of movies.

Six days from now, we were supposed to have hoverboards, power laces and flying cars. Unfortunately, the world of “Back to the Future Part II” is behind schedule.

“Part II” predicted some things about the future correctly (playing video games without hands, for example), while other elements were rather off-track (phone booths and newspapers aren”t quite as prominent today as they were in the 1989 movie).

A newly launched infographic breaks down what the movie got right and wrong about the future. To see this fun guide to the status of the tech Marty and Doc encountered, go to techtalk.currys.co.uk.

The infographic delves into some of the “Part II” tech that”s “now available,” “in the pipeline” and “a long way off.”

Yep, where we”re going we”ll still need roads, cause flying cars are still in that latter category.
