“Back to the Future” fans waiting for the tech in the second film to come to life may now rejoice!
On this day of “Back to the Future” celebration, Nike has officially announced (via Coming Soon) that Marty McFly”s self-lacing Nike Mag sneakers will become a reality in the Spring of 2016.
The shoes will only be available via several charity auctions and all proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson”s Research.
As a little bit of background, there was a 2011 release of the Nike Air Mags for an eBay auction for the Michael J. Fox foundation, but they didn't have power laces.
