Based on this photo, is something bad going to happen to Chris Pratt in ‘Passengers’?

In 2016, Hollywood will attempt to reach peak adorkable by releasing “Passengers,” a film starring both Jennifer Lawrence AND Chris Pratt. If you”re going to create an original concept in the Age of Reboots, I guess it doesn”t hurt to hedge your bets with two of the most likable stars around.

Information has been scarce on the plot, but its been described as a big-budget sci-fi romance or, as one source called it, “‘Gravity” with romance.” IMDB has the following plot summary but – as it”s IMDB – take it with a grain of salt.

A spacecraft travelling to a distant colony planet and transporting thousands of people has a malfunction in one of its sleep chambers. As a result, a single passenger is awakened 60 years early. Faced with the prospect of growing old and dying alone, he eventually decides to wake up a second passenger.

It might not be too far off the mark though, if this recent image Chris Pratt uploaded to Instagram is any indication. In it, a mold of Pratt”s face full of stick pins is visible. Pratt says it”s used to affix prosthetics too. So will Pratt”s character imagine himself growing old alone? Or could some catastrophe hit the ship and wound him? At this point, either is just as likely.

“Passengers” is currently slated for December 21, 2016.
