They”re tanned, rested and ready. And they”re coming to a beach near you.
The Baywatch movie, about everyone”s favorite team of improbably attractive lifeguards, now has their first official group photo. It”s as good looking as you would imagine.
Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. The Rock) posted a picture of the swimsuit clad crew on his Instagram page. He wrote, “Are we bad ass? Yes. Do we save lives? All day. Are we a dysfunctional family? Epically. Do we have fun? F*CK YES.”
In addition to Johnson, the taut troupe pictured includes Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera, Kelly Rohrbach and Jon Bass.
The movie is based on the 1990s TV phenomenon that starred David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson and a bevy of beauties/Motley Crüe groupies. At its peak, Baywatch was the most watched show in the world and ultimately filmed nearly 250 episodes.
The movie version of Baywatch is directed by Seth Gordon (The Goldbergs) and is slated for a May 2017 release.
