Dave Annable has been cast opposite Katharine McPhee in the romantic-comedy “Wedlocked.”

Rob Hedden will direct from his own script, which focuses on a young photographer (Annable), who gets wrangled into a marriage-of-convenience to the daughter (McPhee) of a mobster. They even get a forced honeymoon in Hawaii, which is where the film will shoot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, production on “Wedlocked” will begin in March when Annable is on “Brothers & Sisters” hiatus.

The film is produced Showcase Entertainment’s Shawna and David Jackson and by Hawaii Film Partners’ Rann and Gina Watamull. We suppose the latter production entity is why the couple isn’t honeymooning in New Mexico or Louisiana.

In addition to his run as Justin Walker on ABC’s “Brothers & Sister,” Annable’s credits include FOX’s short-lived “Reunion,” plus the upcoming feature “Julie & Julia.”
