Bryan Singer had to pick up a Storm for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

When filming a complex action tent pole franchise like X-Men: Apocalypse, there”s a high probability that the end of production isn”t really the end. At some point cast and crew will gather again to get new footage. Sometimes that means reshoots, and sometimes it just means pick-ups. The former is when someone at the studio goes “That whole bit was garbage. MULLIGAN!” and the latter is when they say “We need another 20 seconds of explanatory footage right…here.”

So it was the Bryan Singer found himself back on the Apocalypse set, standing in front of some fishermen desperately trying to survive a green screen storm. And probably trying to survive Storm.
