“Clueless Gamer” is not just one of my favorite recurring sketches in Conan O'Brien's arsenal; it's one of the most fun, impressive, and interesting recurring bits on the late night talk circuit. While other emcees can placate and sometimes charm us with sketches involving celebrity cameos or man-on-the-street fare, “Clueless Gamer” sees Conan relying on only his wit and befuddlement for laughs. It's an exhibition of actual talent that doesn't hinge on a cloying gimmick or phony moments of humility from celebrities. It is one hilarious man being hilarious.
