Notoriously pretty Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale is ready to show a darker side on CBS’ serial killer procedural “Criminal Minds.”
CBS announced on Wednesday (Sept. 9) that Rossdale will appear on an upcoming “Criminal Minds” episode playing, of all things, a rock star.
To be more specific, Rossdale will play a goth rocker with a frightening on-stage alter-ego. When the BAU team becomes convinced that that alter-ego may be a brutal serial killer, they begin to investigate.
CBS offered no additional information of when Rossdale’s episode will shoot or when it will air.
If he isn’t most familiar as husband to Gwen Stefani, Rossdale is best known as the lead singer for Bush, whose first album, 1994’s worldwide smash “Sixteen Stone,” featured a slew of hits, including “Everything Zen.” Bush recorded three additional albums and Rossdale has found some (more limited) success as a solo artist.
As an actor, Rossdale has been seen in features like “Constantine,” “Little Black Book,” “Game of their Lives” and, most recently, the indie “How to Rob a Bank.”
