FX picked Courteney Cox’s “Dirt” over “Breaking Bad,” Vince Gilligan recalls to Charlie Rose

In an hour-long conversation, Gilligan explained that FX had to pick one of the two shows and settled on Cox’s 2007 series “Dirt” because  the network had a mandate to add female viewers. “The League” co-creator finds FXX move exciting yet frustrating
