Rapper-actress-designer Eve has lined up a multi-episode guest arc on the first season of FOX’s “Glee.”
The network announced on Wednesday (June 24) that Eve will appear in at least two episodes as the coach of a rival glee club, one that threatens McKinley High’s hot streak.
Eve joins an increasingly long line of upcoming “Glee” guest stars with musical or theatrical pedigrees, a group that includes Josh Groban, Kristen Chenoweth and Victor Garber.
“Glee,” which had a limited May premiere post-“American Idol,” will return to FOX for its first season on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Eve’s fourth studio album, “Flirt,” will drop later this year. A Grammy winner for “Let Me Blow Ya Mind,” Eve’s acting credits include “Barbershop,” “The Cookout” and the three-season run of her own eponymous UPN sitcom.
