Chris Pratt has reportedly been cast in NBC’s new sitcom “Parks and Recreation.”

Michael Ausiello at EW and Zap2it’s Korbi battled last night over who got the story up first, but either way, Pratt will play the boyfriend of Rashida Jones’ Ann.

Pratt’s character is an unemployed musician who has an unfortunately accident at an abandoned construction site.

Turning the site into a park becomes a crusade for Poehler’s Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana.

Created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, “Parks and Recreation” is expected to begin production next week, with an April 9 premiere date in the cards.

Best known as Bright Abbot from The WB’s “Everwood,” Pratt also appeared on the final season of “The O.C.” as Che. Pratt’s feature credits include “Wanted” and “Bride Wars.”
