Everyone just wants to go ‘Home’ in new ‘Game of Thrones’ photos

In ‘The Red Woman” – the season premiere of Game of Thrones – audiences witnessed an hour filled with plot set-ups, unexpected character deaths, and last-minute magical reveals. Now HBO has released photos from the second episode. Entitled ‘Home,” the photos indicate we”ll be spending a lot of time in the North.

WARNING: Minor spoilers beyond this point.

If you were worried HBO would skip over the Wall for a week to check in on characters we haven”t seen yet this season, worry no more. Photos of both Alliser Thorne (Owen Teale) and Dolorous Edd (Ben Crompton) confirm we”ll at least be seeing the next part of the Battle for Jon Snow”s Body. Whether or not Melisandre will be back on the scene to drop some resurrection knowledge on the Night”s Watch – or if the show will choose the path of ‘Jon warged into Ghost” – remains to be seen.

The episode titles for Game of Thrones can sometimes be applied to multiple characters in an episode. ‘Home” is no different. The single image from Meereen could be in the midst of the talk from the trailer when Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) discusses dragons, but that doesn”t mean he doesn”t also bring up the topic of how to get home with all the ships aflame in the harbor. Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) being up and about on his own two feet at Winterfell – his home – is likely due to hippie tree magic. Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) could possibly be dreaming of going home to Greywater Watch in the Neck. And of course, the Greyjoys will be fighting over bringing Theon home.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays on HBO at 9/8c.
