First Look: Daniel Craig returns as James Bond in ‘SPECTRE’

If the sun is rising in London and most of America is asleep that means Sony Pictures and MGM must be debuting something special from another highly anticipated 007 adventure.  Following the blockbuster and critical success of “Skyfall,” Sam Mendes has returned to direct the follow-up, “SPECTRE.”

On this morning, James Bond fans not only find themselves with the first official image of the movie (you can check it out at the top of this post), but a behind-the-scenes featurette from snowy Austria.  The video only contains a glimpse at Bond himself, Daniel Craig, but it does feature some thoughts from his co-stars including a rapturous looking Léa Seydoux and Dave Bautista who segues from one major franchise (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) to another.

Bond franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson pride themselves at taking 007 to some of the most remote and rarely filmed locales in the world. You wouldn't think Austria would qualify, but in the short video one of the movie's production manager discusses how isolated and difficult it was to find this particular spot.

Plus, did we mention Bond fires a gun?

You can check out the first sneak peek at “SPECTRE” in the embedded video below.

“SPECTRE” opens nationwide on Nov. 6.
