The first round results of HitFix's inaugural Heroes vs. Villains March Mayhem tournament featured just as many upsets as the first full day of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
You want Dayton over Ohio State? How about Xena taking out Wonder Woman in a squeaker? (We'll always love you Lynda Carter). You want Harvard over Cincinnati? How about Harry Potter losing to the wise old sage Gandalf? Want a second half comeback? Lex Luthor overtook the Wicked Witch of the West in the last 24 hours of voting after trailing for three straight days. Word about Heroes vs. Villains is spreading and fans are having their say. Now, onto round two.
From now until Monday, March 24 at 9 PM PST you can vote in our 16 second round match ups. Highlights include Wolverine vs. Batman, Darth Vader vs. Loki, Xena vs. Jack Bauer, Walter White vs. Spike and – watch out – The Borg vs. Tony Soprano.
(And yes, that last one isn't as easy a pick as it might initially seem).
