Get your T-rex fix with these new clips from Pixar’s ‘The Good Dinosaur’

Can”t wait for “The Good Dinosaur,” Pixar fans? The animation studio just released a couple clips to tide you over until the movie”s release later this month.

Both clips feature the film”s Tyrannosaurus rex family, led by Butch, voiced by Sam Elliott. Kudos to the folks that made that stellar casting choice.

Here”s Butch telling campfire stories to his kids and the young, far from home Apatosaurus named Arlo.

That clip and the one below were inspired by the time “Good Dino” director Peter Sohn and his fellow filmmakers spent with a rancher family in Wyoming during a research trip. After a day of hard work on the ranch, the family told Sohn gritty stories of their adventures around a campfire. And the next clip was inspired by Sohn”s attempt to help out the family with their cattle ranching duties – first, difficult step: understanding what the hell your instructions are.

“The Good Dinosaur” opens in theaters on Wednesday, Nov. 25. For more about the making of the movie, check out the gallery below.
