Fresh off a knockout year that saw a Golden Globe win and an Oscar nomination, Sylvester Stallone is apparently taking his fight to outer space in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. And he”ll reportedly be doing so as one of the Ravagers.
Heroic Hollywood is reporting that Sly has joined the cast as one the intergalactic pirates that are often allies with the Guardians. While Marvel has yet to even confirm Stallone”s involvement, the New York Daily News spotted him leaving the same Atlanta hotel where the cast of the movie is staying. Guardians is being filmed at Pinewood Atlanta Studios.
The first Guardians of the Galaxy was a monster hit, raking in almost $800 million worldwide. The 2014 film starred Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana as well as the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is slated for a May 5, 2017 release.
