“Pitch Perfect 2” features more female camaraderie than any other movie this year — and two of its stars, Brittany Snow and franchise newcomer Hailee Steinfeld, recognize that their personalities shine through the movie's a cappella-obsessed characters.
“I think specifically my character tends to be a little over-excited about everything. And I do that a lot too,” Steinfeld said cautiously.
“In the best way,” Snow assured Steinfeld, who was Oscar-nominated in 2010 for her performance in “True Grit.”
Snow added that she shares some — but definitely not all — personality traits with her frantic character Chloe: “I'm very passionate about things too, but without the weirdness, the close-talking, and going into girls' showers.”
