Is ‘Big Bang Theory’ co-creator bringing the Muppets back to TV?

It may be time to play the music, light the lights, and meet the Muppets on TV again, if “Big Bang Theory” co-creator Bill Prady has anything to say about it. According to several published reports, Prady – who early in his career worked for Jim Henson – has co-written a Muppets TV revival for ABC (the home of “Muppets Tonight” in the early '90s), which will be filmed as a proof-of-concept (basically, a short pilot). The show would feature all the usual favorites like Kermit, Gonzo and Miss Piggy, plus a few new characters like Fozzie's girlfriend (which would help the extreme Muppet gender imbalance) and her family, and have them once again producing a show-within-a-show.

What does everybody else think? Did the recent Muppet films rekindle your interest in the characters, or are you a Henson/Oz purist?
