MTV has announced that production on Season 6 of “Jersey Shore” will begin this summer in Seaside – but will a pregnant Snooki still be down to party?
That’s right, friends – Snooks, J-WOWW, Pauly D, The Situation and four other people who have failed to successfully brand themselves are heading back to the beach for another round of public drunkenness, endless clubbing and panty-less, fist-pumping mayhem in what MTV promises will see the housemates “head[ing] into unchartered [sic] territory…as their lives outside the ‘Shore’ take off in exciting new directions.”
If you say so!
“Jersey Shore” remained the top-rated cable series in the coveted 12-34 demo in Season 5, with an average of 7.9 million total viewers per episode (including DVR playback). Though the final episode aired on March 15, you can catch “Jersey Shore: The Reunion” – during which all the Season 5 “drama” will be re-hashed for your viewing pleasure – on May 22 at 10 PM ET.
For those who just can’t make it through the next few months without their “Jersey Shore” fix, you can tune in to the season premiere of Pauly D’s solo outing – appropriately titled “The Pauly D Project” – on Thursday, March 29 at 10:30 PM.
