Kevin James is back as America's favorite minimum wage security guard in the upcoming “2 Paul 2 Blart.”
Fine, that's not the real title, but we have to come up with some way to amuse ourselves during this endless 2-minute trailer.
This time, Blart is in scenic Las Vegas, Nevada, where he works to protect the fat cats at the Wynn® Hotel (there's also a nice shot of a Dior® store) with the help of some fellow security guards. This spin on the “Die Hard” formula finds James showing off his formidable Segway skills, fighting exotic birds, punching old ladies really hard, and listening to Minikiss.
It also stars Molly Shannon, Neal McDonough, Daniella Alonso and David Henrie.
The first “Blart” made off with nearly $150 million at the domestic box office, so we have no one to blame but ourselves. Full disclosure: I rented it from Redbox, so I admit I'm part of the problem.
“Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” opens April 17.
