Krang will be in the new ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ movie

We're finally going to see Krang in a “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” movie.

Yes, the giant talking brain-thing from Dimension X who lives in a nearly naked robot will appear in the sequel to the 2014 movie, according to a Rolling Stone article about “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” producer Michael Bay. In one passage, Bay talks to the film's visual effects supervisor about “the latest version of Krang” and they debate whether or not Krang should have tentacles, as he did in the 80s cartoon where he first appeared.

The current Krang has no tentacles, but Bay says they can add some back in as long as they aren't “coming out of the side,” making him look like a “stupid octopus.” A look at some upcoming TMNT toys might give a sneak preview of what Bay ended up going with.

Good luck making Krang look not ridiculous, Bay and company! “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” premieres June 3, 2016.
