Legend goes green on new ‘Evolve’ tour

John Legend’s new U.S. tour will take him to more than 50 cities this summer in support of his album, “Evolver.”

The tour, according to Billboard, begins June 27 in Muskegon, Mich., and will be eco-friendly. Legend has linked with environmental non-profit Reverb to ensure best “green” practices on the road, such as uses of green products by catering and flights and tours that leave the smallest carbon footprint possible. There will even be incentives for fans to go green. India.Arie will appear on many of the dates.

According to his website. Legend just returned from a tour in Japan.
