Mark Hamill surprises fans for charity dressed as a stormtrooper

Mark Hamill, the famous actor who played Luke Skywalker in the original “Star Wars” trilogy, took to the streets of Hollywood to promote the OMAZE charity campaign, but he didn't go as himself; he went dressed as a stormtrooper.

Hamill put on a stormtrooper outfit for the first time since filming the Death Star scenes in “Star Wars: A New Hope.” In the video below, Hamill talks to people on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, inviting them to donate to the campaign for a chance to win tickets to the “Star Wars The Force Awakens” premiere in LA. Many of them say that if they won, they would want to meet Mark Hamill. Oh if they only knew, he was standing right in front of them!

Harrison Ford also surprised fans for the OMAZE campaign. The genuine delight and surprise on their faces can be seen here. “Star Wars” is really knocking it out of the park with their OMAZE campaigns lately — all the details on how to donate and potentially win can be found here.

“Star Wars The Force Awakens” opens December 18, 2015.
