A family emergency has forced Pam Fryman, director of 172 of 184 “HIMYM” episodes, to pull out of the pilot. Fryman, who is still onboard “HIMYD” as executive producer and director, will be replaced by Rob Greenberg, who directed the 2nd most “HIMYM” episodes at seven.
