Matthew McConaughey’s “Dallas Buyers Club” diet was certainly no picnic (literally and figuratively), but he still managed to carve out little moments of joy during the experience.
“I found tapioca pudding. And that was…I would get the tiniest little…antique spoon, little bitty sugar spoons, and I would eat it with that so it would last longer,” said McConaughey during the backstage press conference following his Best Actor win at the SAG Awards on Saturday. “Oh, it was great!…I could make it last an hour.”
So what was the first thing he ate after filming was completed?
“When I got done, I went and made the ultimate cheeseburger,” he grinned.
